Crowne Plaza Madrid Airport opens its doors
InterContinental Hotels Group's new hotel in Madrid, Crowne Plaza Madrid Airport, has opened its doors. Located 15 minutes from the center of the capital The hotel, with 125 rooms, will be located five minutes from IFEMA and nine from the airport, on Avenida de Aragón, 402.
The Crowne Plaza brand, a specialist in the business travel environment, has opened a new hotel, Crowne Plaza Madrid Airport, which will be located just nine minutes from the airport and will offer all its customers free high-speed wireless internet access as well as the possibility of using the business center, open 24 hours a day.
"Although there is a great hotel offer in Madrid, Crowne Plaza Madrid Airport covers a gap in the business tourism segment," explains Riccardo Campione, director of the hotel, "we are a functional, practical, accessible hotel, but also with high levels of quality and design that we are sure our guests will appreciate."
Like the rest of the brand's hotels in the world, the Crowne Plaza Madrid Airport will make available to its guests the Crowne Plaza Advanced Sleep Program, to ensure the rest of travelers with Premium pillows, guaranteed alarm clock and silent area of the building, among other advantages. In addition, another of the novelties of the Crowne Plaza for 2010 are the menus "eat well, work well" prepared together with professional chefs to allow guests to maintain an optimal energy level throughout the working day. At the Crowne Plaza Madrid Airport, chef César Rodríguez, owner of el Antojo restaurant, will be in charge of the kitchen.
This new IHG establishment in Spain will operate on a franchise basis with a group that already has eight hotels of the chain in Mexico and that, with a strong hotel presence in the area, has vast experience in hotel franchises in Latin America. In Madrid, they have also signed an agreement with IHG for the upcoming opening of Spain's first Hotel Indigo, the group's new boutique brand.
