The hotel will open its doors in the coming weeks
Andrés Roda, CEO of the new Holiday Inn Express Algeciras
Andrés Roda has been appointed Managing Director of holiday Inn Express Algeciras. It is the third hotel of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in Andalusia, the first in the western part of the region.
With this new position, Andrés Roda assumes the responsibility of carrying out the management of the hotel, will be in charge of the development and implementation of the strategic plans and of achieving the financial objectives of the establishment, while maintaining the corporate commitments of respect for the environment and the community.
Roda, 42, has been linked to the Holiday Inn brand since 1987, going through different stalls and hotels. He started as a receptionist at Holiday Inn Madrid, from where he became a sales executive. In 2005 he participated as guest service manager in the opening of the Holiday Inn Express Alcorcón, and two years later he was appointed GENERAL DIRECTOR of Holiday Inn Express San Sebastián de los Reyes, a position he has held until now.
The Holiday Inn Express Algeciras hotel, with 119 rooms, is the first of InterContiental Hotels Group in western Andalusia, and joins the other two establishments the group has in Andalusia: Holiday Inn Express Málaga Airport and Crowne Plaza Estepona-Costa del Sol, which shows the chain's commitment to this region, it attracts a large number of business visitors as well as leisure travelers.
