Valladolid will host the FEHR Hospitality Awards on November 30
The mayor of Valladolid, Francisco Javier León de la Riva, together with the presidents of the Spanish Federation of Hospitality (FEHR), José María Rubio, and the Provincial Association of Hospitality Entrepreneurs of Valladolid, José Ramón García and the Councilor for Culture, Tourism and Commerce, Mercedes Cantalapiedra, have presented the fourth edition of the FEHR Hospitality Awards.
For the first time the highest awards of the Spanish Federation of Hospitality (FEHR) change their usual place of celebration, Madrid, to move to the Calderón Theater in Valladolid, where on November 30 professionals and entrepreneurs related to the sector will meet at the national level for the celebration of the IV FEHR Awards for Hospitality.These awards were created in 2007 with the purpose of thanking the entrepreneurs of the sector for their efforts in matters of great relevance such as social responsibility, commitment to people with disabilities, food safety or commitment to environmental responsibility. In addition, those who have stood out in fields such as technological innovation, commitment to quality or cultural promotion stand out.
The City Council of Valladolid will receive recognition for its work in promoting tourism and gastronomy, as well as its constant collaboration with the Provincial Association of Hospitality Entrepreneurs of Valladolid. The Consistory shows, through various actions, its constant support for the hotel and gastronomy of Valladolid, as demonstrated by its active participation in Madrid Fusion or its contribution to the Seminci with the initiative Comer de Película, as well as in the organization of the Provincial Contest of Pinchos de Valladolid. In addition, the city council collaborates in the celebration of the Day Fair, in which more than 200 establishments take their bars to the street in the month of September, a party that is a meeting point not only for the citizens of Valladolid, but for all tourists who come to the city to enjoy its rich gastronomy.
The winners of this fourth edition are: Artemi Nolla in the category of Hospitality Entrepreneur, the De Torres Group (Madrid) as a Hospitality Company, Comess Group as a Hospitality Company of Spanish Origin in the world, the La Encina Hotel Operation (Almería) as a Company committed to Corporate Social Responsibility, AMADIP-ESMENT (Mallorca) as a Company committed to people with disabilities, the Pepe Santiago Hotel Group (Asturias) as an outstanding hospitality company in technological innovation, Hispania Gastronomía (Valencia) as a hospitality company committed to quality, Bodegas Campos Restaurant (Córdoba) as an outstanding company in food safety, Café Bretón (Logroño) as an outstanding Hospitality Company in the promotion of Spanish culture, Coque Restaurant (Madrid) as a hospitality company committed to environmental responsibility and the Special Award for the concord "José Luis Fernández Noriega" to be awarded to Ismael Díaz Yubero.
