Colombia. Conconcreto, a Colombian infrastructure company, with operations in more than 10 countries in Latin America, is preparing under the Gran Plaza brand the start-up of three new shopping centers in the city of Bogotá.
Juan Luis Aristizábal Vélez, president of Conconcreto, spoke about how the strategy of turning the commercial format, which is already in Yopal (Casanare), Pitalito (Huila), Florencia (Caquetá), Soledad (Atlántico) and Ipiales (Nariño), into a reference in the country and in the region, is advancing.
"In terms of architecture, our shopping centers become an urban reference of the cities we reach: icons that symbolize modernity and growth for communities. We take care that the end user has at their disposal pleasant spaces, simple routes, open areas that encourage the permanence of visitors and that make their passage through Gran Plaza a great experience, "said the president of Conconcreto to local media.
The development of a shopping center in Conconcreto contemplates a sustainable approach from its design phase to operation.
The implementation of bioclimatic solutions, based on studies of ventilation, shadows, heat and radiation, as well as energy efficiency and the optimization of water resources, are part of the strategy of generating high rates of well-being and comfort with the minimum impact on the environment.
"The two LEED certifications, one of them in the Silver category, endorse this commitment to the environment of the communities we reach through the Gran Plaza brand," said Aristizábal Vélez.
