Latin America. The renowned Facility Manager of the Year Award will be awarded again within the framework of TecnoEdificios Colombia, which will take place in Bogotá on November 3 and 4, and voting is now open to choose the winner among the five finalists postulated.
For three weeks, applications were open among Facility Management industry professionals, who shared the names and outstanding achievements of their candidates for this vote. Of the eleven applications received from different countries such as Mexico, Panama, Colombia and Spain, the organizing committee of TecnoEdificios selected five finalists, considering their trajectory and achievements.
The finalists for this new edition of the Facility Manager of the Year are:
• Alfonso Alizo, Town Center – Panama. His accomplishments include the continued operation of the Town Center building during the pandemic, with proven savings that kept the mall operational, and many general service employees keeping their jobs. On the other hand, he makes a great contribution in the area of Facility Management with certifications and training.
• Harold Borja, Cushman & Wakefield – Panama. His application highlights him as an "excellent professional with impeccable work" and trajectory as Facility Manager representing Panama, Colombia, Central America and the Caribbean, promoting FM services in the region and fully complying with savings vs. quality processes, always applying ethics in internal processes and policies.
• Roberto Cáceres, Colliers International – Colombia. It has a trajectory of more than 20 years providing real estate services. It currently carries out an efficient operation in several cities in Colombia and in 2021 began a successful operation in Panama with the management of the largest building in this country.
• Rodrigo Villagomez Osorno, Brinks / Pan American Service – Mexico. Among the projects he has carried out in his professional career, he highlights that, in his current position, he has undertaken several that allow him to verify his leadership, his extensive knowledge in the field of Facility Management and the excellent treatment and control of human resources.
• Juan Camilo Aristizábal, JCA Soluciones Inmobiliarias – Colombia. During the pandemic he achieved the correct administration and commercial management of the different buildings under his charge, including those owned by ARBO Investment. It also facilitated the generation of resources for the development of a new real estate project, which is in the commercialization phase, continuing with the generation of value for its clients.
