Latin America. More than 20 brands with products and solutions for the professional cleaning and facility management industries were present at the expo held on November 22 and 23, which had the Experience Forum, a free space for technical-commercial conferences and live demonstration, where attendees knew first-hand the novelties presented by exhibitors, sponsors and allies such as Hipal, the National Learning Service (SENA), Fenaseo, Hipcam, Marwind, Indpower and Interaseo / Tecnovap.
About 300 people, including attendees of the Academic Congresses and visitors to the commercial expo, met on November 22 and 23 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Medellín for the second edition of CleanTec Show Americas and the twelfth edition of TecnoEdificios, where they had a specialized education space for the Professional Cleaning and Facility Management industry, as well as a diverse offer of products and services in the trade show.
On the other hand, both Academic Congresses presented an agenda of conferences with national speakers, as well as guests from Spain, Mexico and El Salvador. This academic meeting ended with the award of the LATAM CleanTec Show Americas Award 2022 for the Most Innovative Product, with Klaxen as the winner with its Klaxinn Tabs product line, to which Diversey was also nominated with its UV disinfection product, Moonbeam 3.
The LATAM TecnoEdificios Award 2022 for Business Trajectory and Competitiveness was also awarded to the PACTIA Real Estate Fund, for its energy efficiency project that enhances environmental sustainability.
Andrea Ochoa, academic coordinator, stressed that "it was a congress designed to strengthen the processes of companies in terms of sustainability, leadership and competitiveness in order to improve decision-making and project investment and productivity. By 2023 we plan to arrive with much more strength, improving the academic program with industry experts" and extended his invitation to speakers and attendees to "participate in these important events next year."
For her part, Carolina Gallego, Country Manager of CleanTec and TecnoEdificios, commented that this "has been a year of successes, which is allowing us to move forward, improve and grow as a benchmark event in the sectors of Cleaning and Facility Management". Sandra Camacho, Project Manager of CleanTec and TecnoEdificios expressed her satisfaction for "ensuring that the three dimensions of sustainability: economic, social and environmental, advance harmoniously" and pointed out that "it is about betting in the future on training and technological innovation as essential factors of change towards sustainable development. CleanTec Show and TecnoEdificios will be held again in 2023 in Panama City, on September 13 and 14 at the Hotel Riu Plaza in the Panamanian capital.
