Colombia. For different criteria and strategies focused on innovation and service, Banco de Bogotá recently received the award as Bank of the Year in Colombia 2022, Digital Bank of the Year in Colombia and Best Bank of Financial Inclusion.
This recognition was given by the London magazine, The European, in the most recent edition of its annual awards.
The entity was evaluated and selected through a series of criteria for the different categories that include: Corporate Governance practices, leadership, corporate social responsibility, excellence in service with a customer-centric approach, development of innovation and digital transformation in products and services, applicability and accessibility to technology, inclusion programs, financing products for SMEs and social financing programs.
"This recognition ratifies our commitment to contribute to the development of the country through a strategy that prioritizes the access of all Colombians to the benefits of the financial sector through digital tools that provide much more agile, intuitive, stable and secure experiences," said Isabel Cristina Martínez, Vice President of Sustainability and Corporate Services at Banco de Bogotá.
Additionally, the financial publication highlighted the Bank's overall performance in indicators such as profitability, operational efficiency, as well as transparency and rigor in reporting.
In 2022, Banco de Bogotá received different awards thanks to the development of its digital strategy as Best Financial Innovation Laboratory, Best Bank in Digital Credits and Best Experience Design in Latin America by Global Finance. As well as the Best Bank in Colombia award given by the British publication Euromoney in its 'Awards for Excellence 2022' program.
