Mexico. At the end of 2022, the Bank of Mexico announced that the outsourcing reform has been a strong pillar to boost nominal wage growth to levels never seen before 2021. According to data reported by the IMSS, one year after the prohibition of outsurcing, the reform has benefited 3 million workers, who, according to the Bank of Mexico, changed employers and immediately began to receive a base salary of contributions (SBC) higher than the rest of the insured, going from 506 to 573 pesos on average.
This is due to the fact that supply chains in recent years have been strongly impacted: labor reform, technology, the lack of trained operational personnel and the social changes derived from the pandemic, are examples of this. These factors have created a scenario in which business activities require greater professionalism and much more flexible employee-employer relationships.
Víctor Higueras, national director of facility services of Grupo EULEN Mexico, said that "Supply chains currently require talent, today more than ever staff plays a preponderant role for the growth of companies, no matter the industry, the economic, political and social environment requires specialized personnel who are able to develop specific tasks. While it is true that the country's economy is beginning to show encouraging figures, the reality is that we must put on the table the importance of workers and specialized services to achieve it."
Additionally, he commented: "At the beginning of 2022 alone, specialized services employed more than 2 million people in the country. This is because organizations realized that they needed to streamline processes and invest in making work more flexible."
"The labor management provided by specialized services guarantees competitive advantages by having the best talent, saving costs, productivity and efficiency. The objective is clear, the economy and companies of the country need to become agile, innovative and competitive within a developing economy like ours and the global economic environment derived from the pandemic," added Víctor Higueras.
Against this background, the future of the country's economy and organizations will depend on their ability to adapt and the flexibility of their processes. The global economic scenario will force the markets to stop inflation with assertiveness and professionalism, which will only be achieved by highly specialized personnel.
