Mexico. According to Statista and its latest projections, the travel and tourism market in Mexico is expected to experience significant growth in the coming years. It is projected that by 2024, revenues in this market will reach $15,410 million dollars. In addition, the market is expected to grow at an annual rate of 4.64% between 2024 and 2029, leading to a projected market volume of $19.33 billion by 2029; and the hotel market is expected to be the largest in the sector, with a projected market volume of $8,080 million dollars this year.

During the 39th edition of ABASTUR, which took place from August 28 to 30 in Mexico City, Marco Castillo and Elías Eskaff, Managers of Intelisis, highlighted that in the hotel industry in Mexico, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction are key factors for success. And they specified: "in this context, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems have become fundamental tools to enhance the growth of the sector, as they allow the integration and automation of various business functions, from financial administration to human resources management, which is essential to guarantee a smooth and efficient operation."

The Mexican ERP software developer was part of ABASTUR because it is the leading event in Latin America for the hospitality industry, which brings together professionals and suppliers in the sector. Its objective is to facilitate networking and learning, highlighting trends and innovations for the hotel sector. The event includes exhibitions, conferences and workshops to promote knowledge exchange and strategic alliances.

As part of their presentation, Marco Castillo and Elías Eskaff presented the 5 main trends of success in the hotel industry:
* Human capital training: training in cutting-edge technology and communication skills is essential to improve the customer experience and optimize the overall management of the hotel. Emphasis is placed on team integration, creating memorable experiences, and adherence to ethical and safe practices, in addition to a solid understanding of hotel finances and KPIs.

* Comprehensive and adaptable strategies: the implementation of advanced systems such as CRM, PMS, and ERP allows for more comprehensive data collection and analysis, improving customer experience management and operational efficiency through a more complete integration of digital data.
Adapting to changing traveler expectations: Modern consumers, especially new generations, value sustainability, authentic experiences, and access to products without owning them. Eco-planning and authenticity are key, with social media playing an important role in choosing destinations.

* Digitization of operational processes: The adoption of innovative technologies, such as artificial intelligence and campaign automation, optimizes operational efficiency and real-time cost management. Digitalization offers a competitive advantage by meeting changing customer expectations and promoting continuous improvement.

* Integration of hotel systems: the interconnection of hotel management systems (PMS) with solutions such as online reservation systems and access control allows for a smoother operation and improves the experience of both the customer and the work team.

According to Intelisis, one of the main challenges facing the hotel industry is the comprehensive management of its operations. This is where Intelisis PMS (Property Management System) comes into play, which specializes in hotel property management, and provides managers with a tool to handle reservations, room assignment, and additional services in an agile and efficient manner. The integration of Intelisis PMS with an ERP allows for more coordinated and transparent management of all areas of the hotel, ensuring that the guest experience is consistent and satisfactory at every touchpoint.

In addition, Intelisis ERP, a solution that allows hotels to control all their processes on a centralized platform. From inventory management to accounting, Intelisis ERP offers a comprehensive view of the operation, improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.

In addition, the addition of Intelisis CRM adds a strategic layer to customer relationship management, as it allows guest data to be collected and analyzed to personalize each customer's experience, from promotions and special offers to personalized services.

In conclusion, the implementation of this type of system is essential for the development of the hotel industry in Mexico, as it allows establishments to improve their efficiency, offer a superior experience to their guests, and adapt quickly to changing market demands.
