Fernandes comes from the company Metro Properties in which he served as director of asset management for southern Europe. As for his professional training, Sergio Fernandes has a degree in Management, Planning and Tourism from the Aveiro University of Portugal and completed his training in Project Management at the Instituto de Empresa (IE). Company spokesmen said that this new addition aims to strengthen the department of shopping centers, a sector that is currently key for the company. Andrés Escarpenter, CEO of JLL, said: "The incorporation of Sergio is a fundamental step for a key department in JLL's strategy in Spain.
