On this day, different global associations of the guild organize a series of activities. Such is the case of [IFMA](https://worldfmdayinfo.ifma.org/), which will hold round tables, conferences and social events. Likewise, [APAFAM](https://globalfm.org/event/apafams-world-fm-day/) will hold a congress called: "Inspire, integrate, innovate: ignite your career in FM", which will take place on May 8 and 9, and which will be done in collaboration with ISO/TC 267 where professionals will be able to update themselves on the ISO 41000 Facility Management standards, learn about methodologies and international success stories on the application of these standards in the public and private sector, become familiar with tools to innovate in FM, network with local and international experts, and learn about the products and services available to FMs. ![](https://www.gerenciadeedificios.com/images/stories/GDE/2024/John_Carrillo_CFM_Global_FM.jpg)"We celebrate World FM Day (WFMD) on May 8, 2024 and encourage all of our colleagues, customer organizations, and suppliers associated with the FM industry to recognize the critical work that FM professionals contribute to the built environment.
