      Details     05 August 2007           Between April and May, Carlson Hotels Worldwide has added thirteen new properties to its global portfolio. This means an average of six new hotels per month since its inception in 2007. Today, the company owns more than 950 hotels in 70 countries.
Among the new properties are The Regent Palms Turks and Caicos in Grace Bay Beach, which made its debut in April. The property has 72 luxury suites distributed in five coral stone buildings that form a semicircle around a serpentine pool. The resort's spa offers various treatments for men and women and showcases two of the most recognizable names in the skincare industry: the Somme Institute and Sonya Dakar. The chain is expected to complete the acquisition of properties in Papagayo, Costa Rica. among others.
