      Details     23 October 2007           The executive director of the Tourism Company (CTPR), Terestella González Denton, confirmed the participation of the former Director General of the National Fund for the Promotion of Tourism of Mexico (Fonatur), John McCarthy, as one of the keynote speakers at the First Tourism Investment Conference in Puerto Rico, to be held from December 4 to 5, 2007, at the San Juan Convention Center.In addition to having speakers of the stature of John McCarthy, the event will bring together over 800 entrepreneurs, investors and developers of commercial tourism projects from around 130 countries. In turn, the Director explained that the First Tourism Investment Conference in Puerto Rico, its main purpose is to promote Puerto Rico as an ideal place for investment and planned tourism development and to achieve an exchange between representatives of the local and international industry.
