The Ministry of Tourism of Mexico (Sectur) reported that the host city of the sporting event **had an offer of 17,050 rooms**, of which about 12,300 were occupied daily. Guadalajara had a total of 15,700 rooms available in 2010.

Compared to October 2010, this year an increase in the number of occupied rooms of 38% was reported. In the last week of the month in question, **four- and five-star hotels averaged occupancy between 85 and 86%.**

These same luxury hotels, in the last weekend of the event, recorded occupancies on average of 96%.
