Intersec 2016 has been the space chosen by the Building Technologies division of Siemens to show its fire protection and extinguishing products and solutions for areas with special needs. Siemens' innovative silent extinguishing technology and smoke suction detectors are two of the most outstanding novelties. As reflected in Siemens' motto at Intersec 2016 We have a burning passion for fire safety, the company will devote special attention to fire protection solutions for data centers and server rooms, hotels, schools and universities, historic buildings and industrial facilities. In this type of places, each of the areas of application presents a special demand in terms of fire protection. Siemens offers customized solutions including Silent Extinguishing Technology for data centers, Swing wireless fire detection systems for hotels, historic buildings and museums, Ex fire detectors for areas with the possibility of explosion risk in industrial facilities and smoke suction detectors (ASDs) for areas that cannot be adequately protected by conventional detectors. Other products that will be on display at the Siemens stand are the powerful Sipass access control system that offers a variety of unique features and a high degree of flexibility; and the DMS8000 hazard management system that enables centralized hazard management.
