In revenue, the association forecasts that the industry will account for approximately $9.9 billion, driven by frozen transportation and food and beverage storage. Trade would be responsible for $2.4 billion, and services for $2.5 billion. In the trade, the increase is due to the popularity of "split" type air conditioning models. Ten years ago, according to the association, 60% of the air conditioning segment was concentrated in window equipment and 40% in splits. Today 72% of households and businesses use the latter.
