      Details     01 September 2008           Hotel Bahia, located in Playa del Medano in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California, southern Mexico, will undergo a short-term refurbishment for all areas of the hotel beginning January 19, 2009.The investment that will have a value of (US)$20,000,000 will restructure the public areas (Lobby, Bar, Restaurant, etc.), recreational areas (swimming pools, spas) and rooms. All hotel furniture will also be renovated, as well as electrical installations, HVAC/R systems, security, telecommunications and plumbing. New technologies will be used, in addition the decoration and finishes will be completely modified inspired by fire, water and earth; all of the above in order to change category to go from three stars to a boutique hotel.
