      Details     19 May 2009           A consortium made up of the banks BCI and Security granted the company made up of Isidora 3000, a subsidiary of the real estate company Territoria, and Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc., about US$50 million for the financing of the project -office and apartment building- that Territoria develops in El Golf. In March 2006, the hotel chain Starwood Hotels & Resorts closed an agreement with Isidora 3000 to acquire a significant stake in the company that owns the 5-star venue. Control of the property was left in the hands of the Chilean firm.The W Santiago hotel, which will open next June, will be operated by Starwood Hotels & Resorts and will have 196 rooms. It should be remembered that, a few weeks ago, the sale of the Isidora 3000 building to the German fund KanAm failed due to differences between the German group and the real estate company Territoria.
