      Details     27 May 2011          ![alt](http://www.gerenciadeedificios.com/images/stories/GHR/Noticias/panamatendraelprimerhardrockhoteldecentroamerica.jpg)With an investment of US$250 million, the Megapolis Investment Group will inaugurate in December 2011 the new Hard Rock Hotel Panama Megapolis, which will be operated by the Colombian firm Decameron Hotels & Resorts.

The 66-story hotel, located a few meters from the bay, will have 1,499 rooms of which 796 will be 'suites'; It will also offer eight food and beverage outlets including an indoor and outdoor bar, club, spa, fourteen treatment rooms and specialized rooms for business meetings.

Michael Shindler, Executive Vice President of Hard Rock International, said: "We are proud to launch the Hard Rock Hotel brand in Latin America, a region with a prodigious music culture. Both Megapolis Investment Group and Decameron Hotels & Resorts have strong experience in the region, which will be momentous as we begin operations over the course of the year."
