The acquisition was made from the Mexican group Posadas and includes 15 hotels already in operation, of which 11 are located in Brazil, a country of special interest due to the potential of its market and the high occupancy levels expected by the World Cup and the Olympic Games. In addition to properties in Brazil, the agreement also includes hotels in Argentina, Buenos Aires and Chile. In addition, the operation included the Caesar Park and Caesar Business brands formerly belonging to the Posadas group, which would be added to the Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel and Mercure brands that Accor already manages for the region.
