Leonel Reyes, corporate director of Sales for Latin America of the company RCD Resorts, a franchise management company of important properties of the Hard Rock Hotels brand, revealed in an interview for the specialized media Hosteltur that they plan the opening of another 3 properties of the brand in Mexico and the Caribbean.

These 3 properties would be added to the Hard Rock Punta Cana, Hard Rock Cancun, Hard Rock Vallarta and Hard Rock Riviera Maya, among other properties managed by the company. Cancun, Los Cabos and Santo Domingo will be the destinations that will have new Hard Rock establishments from 2016 and 2017.

"We are with a very interesting expansion plan with the Hard Rock brand, since we have three projects that we are already working on, whose opening is scheduled for 2016-2017," said the executive.

The property in Cancun will be close to the airport and will be known under the name of Hard Rock Riviera Cancun. It will have 1,800 rooms, all with sea views, and a crystal lagoon pool.
