      Details     22 April 2008           Siemens Enterprise Communications announced a significant breakthrough in its ongoing transformation into a software-oriented company with the launch of its latest and most innovative software platform for unified communications, OpenScape® Unified Communications (UC) Server. OpenScape UC Server is designed to remove the age-old barriers between traditional voice separation, video and traditional systems to offer a wide range of applications for unified communications. This range initially includes OpenScape Voice Application (HiPath 8000 V3.1 R2, with voice quality, suitable for enterprises and selection of the lowest cost route per IP), OpenScape Video (integrated high definition and client license for video conferencing) and OpenScape UC Application V3 (Unified Communications defined by user profile).
