Latin America. Schneider Electric has made a new collaboration agreement with the University of León. This commitment-framework signed by the Rector of the University, Mr. José Ángel Hermida Alonso and José-Emilio Serra, Vice President of Business Development, Quality and Customer Satisfaction, highlights the priority that the company presents over future professionals in the sector.
The Schneider Electric Training Institute (ISEF), the organization from which the initiative has been promoted, is the company's main tool for technical training and technological dissemination for both its customers and the educational community.
The ISEF continues and insists on getting involved and relating to the educational environment. Following its Social Responsibility Policy, it has managed to facilitate access to specialized education in technology and solutions that the market demands, creating numerous collaboration agreements and different ways of teaching courses for more than 30 years. In addition to face-to-face courses, ISEF has currently expanded its offer with five distance courses, in which students can participate thanks to a digital platform.
The University of León (ULE), is a Spanish public university founded in 1979, with headquarters in León and campus in Ponferrada. In recent years it has signed important collaboration agreements, highlighting the agreement with the University of Washington, allowing it to install its second headquarters dedicated to learning Spanish in the city.
The University of León, recognized by both its teachers and famous students, will generate opportunities for students who want to exercise any of the 10 courses offered by ISEF within the future projects that can be carried out by both entities jointly.
