Mexico. When building, adapting and decorating a hotel room, what professionals in the sector are most looking for is to have systems that help make the management of resources effective and save energy, while adapting to the design of the rooms and the concept of the enclosure.
With this in mind, Honeywell announced the launch of Inncom Elements, a new line of interconnected controls aimed at the hotel sector, whose system combines thermostats, electrical outputs, lighting buttons and various ports on a single board, in order to provide buyers with a wide catalog of products adaptable to any style.
Inncom Elements bases its design on elements such as wood, stone and leather, allowing it to adapt to the specific design requirements of each project. It has sixteen different finishes that complement the design of the rooms, thus becoming the perfect companion for any interior and also providing full control of room automation and comfort systems through state-of-the-art technology and intuitive icons.
The Inncom Elements system has a system that allows it to have interfaces with third parties, adapting not only to Honeywell's INNCOM room controls and PEHA and MK electric units, but also supports multiple elements inside and outside the room such as: electronic locks, air conditioning systems, blinds and motorized curtains, mini.bars, PMS and much more.
"Honeywell understands that room automation goes beyond being able to turn lights on and off or open and close a curtain," said Tom Woodruff, CEO of INNCOM. "Lighting, curtain control and thermostats encompass aspects ranging from basic energy savings, to creating a memorable user experience through elegant pre-designed room scenes at the touch of a button."
Inncom Elements has three main components:
Elements Thermostats: Elements thermostats are user-friendly, making them easy to use by both guests and hotel staff. They have a screen that includes ambient light which turns on instantly when touched by the user, allowing access to data such as the ambient temperature, the established temperature and the speed of ventilation, among others. The screen is equipped with easy-to-understand icons, so the user's native language is never an impediment.
Elements Lighting Keypads: Elements lighting keypads feature sleek designs and easy-to-use interfaces that control lighting, curtains, and the rest of the ambience elements. They are available on keyboards with up to six buttons or with two or more regulators on combination boards that provide AC power, USB charging and audio/video connectivity with room controls.
Room automation and power management interface: The Elements system can also be connected to INNcontrol3 energy management via the INNCOM Deep Mesh Network (DMN) as part of a centralized power management system (EMS). Elements' system presents real-time room status information, graphs of room and property energy data, equipment alarms reporting malfunctions, instant control of temperature parameters, and other online diagnostics and functions for preventive maintenance.
The system can also communicate with other hotel server-based systems, such as property management systems, building automation systems, electronic lock systems and others through the Deep Mesh Network.
