International. Vodafone accelerates with its corporate access solution in Vodafone Wallet integrating the access and registration control systems of Dorlet, a national company specialized in electronic access control systems and integration of security systems.
Thanks to this agreement, Vodafone will offer its customers Dorlet's access control and presence systems, including the digitization of the corporate access card and business card on the mobile of employees and visitors.
Dorlet will be responsible for providing the electronic locking devices and NFC readers in the corporate premises, while Vodafone equips employees with NFC SIM cards and NFC smartphones.
In addition, customers of Dorlet's electronic security platforms will be able to update their access control system to make it compatible with their mobile phones and with Vodafone Wallet Accesses. In this sense, the Dorlet solution allows access control for people, vehicles, etc. and is ideal for any type of private company or public body. The platform includes both hardware and software, i.e. locks, readers, UCAs control units and DASSNET (software that manages all those elements).
In this way, Dorlet will be responsible for providing the electronic locking devices and NFC readers in the corporate premises, while Vodafone provides employees with NFC SIM cards and NFC smartphones approved for Vodafone Wallet Accesses.
The main benefit that a company obtains by digitizing the access cards of its employees on the mobile is the increase in security in the entrances, since the access is not replicable, it is stored in isolation in the SIM card and the possibility of theft or loss of the mobile in front of the physical card is reduced. To these advantages is added the convenience of sending access, remotely and in real time, without the need for the physical presence of the person who receives it on their mobile, who just by bringing it to the reader will access, registering all the entries in the DASSNET management system.
To promote this digital transformation of access control, since October 2015, Vodafone has been offering companies of any size the Vodafone Wallet solution. With it, employees and visitors of organizations can access offices, meeting rooms or other corporate spaces, as well as use printers through a mobile NFC (Near Field Communication). In this way, conventional keys or cards are replaced. In this sense, the integration of Dorlet's access solutions in Vodafone Wallet is added to the one already achieved with Tesa Assa Abloy.
