Colombia. The theme of the eighth edition of CONSTRUVERDE "Be part of the change", is focused on disseminating essential and cutting-edge knowledge to prepare the construction industry for the next expansionary cycle of the economy, which will be presented around three main thematic axes: 1) leaders for a sustainable Colombia; 2) from ideas to action: sustainable cities, communities and projects; 3) innovation in energy management and construction. Thus, the sector will continue to transform itself to contribute to the green growth agenda, the reduction of the environmental impact of the sector and materialize its contribution to the goals of the Paris Agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve the quality of urban life.
CONSTRUVERDE 2017 will have +45 international and national expert speakers, and +700 participants. It will be held in Bogotá, on Wednesday, August 9 and Thursday, August 10, 2017 at El Cubo de Colsubsidio, a building certified in sustainable construction with LEED®, Gold level. www.construverde.co

CONSTRUVERDE Colombia 2017 is supported by eight organizations: the Ministry of Housing, City and Territory, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the National Planning Department (DNP), the Energy Mining Planning Unit (UPME), the World Resources Institute, the U.S. Green Buiding Council (USGBC), the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) and the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC).
