International. Schneider Electric presents the first edition of its International Architecture and Interior Design Award. Aimed at architects and interior designers from seven countries.
Australia, Brazil, China, France, New Zealand, Russia and Spain seek to highlight the creativity, qualities, comfort and connectivity of the projects presented.
There will be one winner for each country, chosen by an international jury formed by the Schneider Electric Group Business Unit, by an external designer and by the team of the Design Lab, Schneider Electric's design laboratories, formed by industrial designers from the best art and design schools.
Each participant may submit more than one project, but this must always include the Schneider Electric products mentioned in the contest rules (D-Life and / or New Unica) and have been executed during 2018.
To qualify to be one of the winners of the I Schneider Electric International Architecture and Interior Design Award, those interested must fill out the participation form and send it to the company along with their candidacy and photos of the project before December 31, 2018.
The first prize consists of a trip to the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2019, one of the most prestigious international design fairs in the world, which will be held from 9 to 14 April 2019 in Milan. The prize includes tickets to the fair, journeys and 5 hotel nights.
The winners from each country will also win the recording of a promotional video about their architecture or interior design studio and the projects implemented with material from Schneider Electric, who will promote said video (provided that the interested parties give their consent) to help enhance the image of the winners.
In addition, throughout the competition a special prize will be defined related to the design philosophy captured in the project and the potential to become a benchmark of the future. The winners from each country will be announced by the end of February 2019.
