Dominican Republic. Grupo Roble, a Central American developer of shopping centers, housing projects, corporate centers, among other types of complexes, announced this week its plans for the construction of a corporate center in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to be inaugurated in 2016.
The complex named Roble Corporate Center, will be a smart building with high quality standards. In addition, it will be built on a plot of 2,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 30,975 square meters. It will have 13 levels and 6 basements for parking. The profitable useful area will be 13,286 square meters distributed over 12 levels of offices.
The property will also be connected to the Hotel Real Intercontinental Santo Domingo, also developed by Grupo Roble.
As for the design, the building will have a glass façade with thermo-acoustic windows, 6 state-of-the-art elevators, water-cooled air conditioning system, energy management system, emergency plant that supports 100% of the building, two-ring fiber optics, voice, video and data transfer, redundant copper system, internal node for internet and telephony.
Grupo Roble is also responsible for corporate complexes at the regional level such as the Plaza Roble and the Escazú Corporate Center, in San José, Costa Rica and the Bogotá Corporate Center, in Colombia.
