Chile. The profits generated by the Chilean real estate company SalfaCorp for the first half of 2015 reached US$5,033 million, representing an increase of 43% compared to the figures obtained in 2014. Similarly, EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) reached US$21,000 million, which when compared with the 2014 report shows a reduction of US$3,227 million. The above, however, was amortized by a higher income margin, which went from 5.4% to 7.8%.
In total, the company's turnover during the first half of the year amounted to US$268,789 million. It is worth noting that the different divisions of the company contributed variable figures to this report.
On the part of Salfa Ingeniería y Construcción S.A., US $201,893 million of revenues were generated; the Building division contributed $46.4 billion; while Inmobiliaria Aconcagua, was responsible for $45,262 million, and Rentas & Desarrollo Inmobiliario recorded revenues of $1,237 million.
