Ecuador. INER, CIMNE, Inergy and BEE Group will carry out the integration of BEE Group's Energy Information System (SIE) in Buildings in Ecuador that will be carried out during the next two years.
This is the SIE3 Ecuador project, where INER will be responsible for carrying out all field research, coordination of actions between local institutions, as well as technical research in the collection of information and the development of the inventory of the 500 buildings considered. Based on the data generated in a first phase, INER will be responsible for adapting Inergy's SIE software to local conditions, and together they will be responsible for validating the adaptations to the local context.
SIEThe Open Source platform of BiG Data will be made available and in the same way the BEE Group will carry out the necessary transfer to allow the RESEARCH staff of INER.
CIMNE and BEE Group will strengthen INER's capabilities, mainly in the analysis and management of large amounts of energy data. To do this, they will make available the Open Source platform of BiG Data and in the same way the BEE Group will carry out the necessary transfer to allow the INER research staff to actively contribute to the Open Source community of BiG Data in the development of algorithms and the massive processing of energy data.
Ultimately, INER, together with CIMNE BEE Group, will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing data from the five buildings considered large consumers, to then propose individualized strategies for each building. The review of the progress of the project as well as the planning will be by cimne, who will manage the funds, the relations between partners and the achievement of the expected results.
