Colombia. The new generation of Back-UPS from APC by Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, has features that make these solutions more efficient and safe when it comes to protecting different systems in the home.

This solution allows you to protect all critical components of home electronics while maintaining an internet connection during prolonged blackouts ensuring home connectivity. That is, when you have power outages, you can watch movies, check the mail, make video calls and have the security systems in place.
On the other hand, its design is smaller and lighter than previous models, allowing greater ease of transfer to install it in places where it is believed more relevant, for electronic equipment in operation and that require protection. It also has additional batteries and surge-protected outputs, adding conveniently located USB charging ports to ensure emergency power supply for any device, including smartphones and tablets.
A new generation family
The Be850M2 Back-UPS is accompanied by the BE425M and BE600M1 models, the new generation offers more battery backup sockets, however it decreases by 22% the size it needed, making them 30% lighter and allowing to power up to six devices during a power outage, compared to the four that handled the previous models.
Its design included up to two USB charging ports to make recharging mobile devices simple and very convenient to keep users connected for longer, protecting the equipment during its operation.
Innovation in the systems reached the point that they can run low-power loads such as routers and modems, allowing access to the internet during a prolonged blackout of up to 5.9 hours, depending on the model.
