On September 27, the Tendiez event "Experiences in residential architecture" was held for the fourth year in the city of Córdoba. There six architects who are experts in the field addressed the complex relationship between the professional and his clients when designing a home. The audience enjoyed inspiring talks and celebrated the anecdotes recounted, the teachings and the fun experiences of the creative processes in residential architecture. The architects Federico Weskamp, José Bearzotti, Fanny Santillán, Alejandro Soneira, Gustavo Castillo and Mariela Marchisio spoke.
The central themes shared by the speakers was the focus on previously building a relationship with the client before a house, knowing how to listen to and interpret it, "becoming friends". We talked about design variables to be broken, such as pre-existences, preconceptions and stereotypes. The imperative need to work as a team was highlighted, not only with the client but with the builder, technicians and consultants. And finally there was talk of incorporating emotion, memory and memories and even magic into the design of a home.
Tendiez "Design Trends in 10" is a conference format created in 2012 by Arch. Hernán Barbero Sarzabal, director of the Sarzabal communication agency, which consists of short talks with multiple speakers, addressing issues of architectural culture, design, art and real estate business in a dynamic communication format that is a global trend.
