International. The APFM will feature speakers and participants from several European countries for its 2018 Facility Management Days. Having as one of the themes the impact of the Internet of Things on the evolution of spaces and on the future of cities, the conference will focus on the distribution of knowledge and experiences between Asset, Property and Facility Managers from several countries.
On October 17 and 18, the Lisbon Technology Forum will be the setting for the event that will discuss the central themes of the evolution of the different spaces and environments of our daily lives – from the office to commercial spaces, from hospitals to hotels, among others.
All of these will highlight the growing use of IoT as essential to understanding and anticipating the needs of end users and how it can make spaces more human and influence the quality of life and productivity of organizations.
The conference will feature reference names in the area of IoT (such as Anna Seacat and André Calixto) as well as European FM (such as Ron van der Weerd, Renske van der Heide and David Martínez), among several speakers already confirmed and that can be consulted on the congress website.
