Hotels.com, the world's leading hotel booking website, today announced the launch of its new Chinese-language portal. As of today, its site www.hotels.cn comes into operation immediately, which has prices in the local currency and local payment methods.
The launch of this new website is part of Hotels.com's expansion process across the Asia Pacific region. Thus joining a list that has pages in countries such as Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. As in these countries, the Chinese portal has a call center in this language with specialized personnel.
With establishments in 400 cities throughout China, this new website offers its customers more than 6,000 local hotels and more than 100,000 hotels around the world.
Commenting on this new launch, nigel Pocklington, Vice President of Global Marketing at Hotels.com, said: "This new website is a qualitative step in the process of expanding Hotels.com in asia Pacific. An emerging region from the point of view of online tourism. The key to entering these markets is to access through the different local languages, in order to develop the full tourist potential of these destinations. Chinese travelers will have an extensive range of hotels around the world, benefiting from hundreds of offers and promotions available only in Hotels.com."
Over time there will be an increase in the number of local hotels available on the site, offering travelers the ability to write and read reviews in their language.
Hotels.com is part of the Expedia Group and currently operates on 52 global pages including 31 local pages in 24 different languages in the EMEA region
