Mexico. IFMA – International Facility Managers Association Mexico Chapter, and IMEI BOMA Mexico – Mexican Association of Smart and Sustainable Building, A.C., recently signed an exchange agreement with the main purpose of joining efforts so that both associations are strengthened in the field of knowledge and professionalization of the sector.
On behalf of IMEI BOMA Mexico, the agreement was signed by Eng. Alicia I. Bandala Pimentel – president of IMEI BOMA Mexico, while on behalf of IFMA Mexico Chapter, it was signed by its president, Arq. Rafael A. Berumen de Cervantes, and as witnesses Alejandra Villarroel – executive director of IMEI BOMA Mexico and Norma Pleitez, CFM – vice president of IFMA Mexico Chapter.
The "IMEI" Mexican Association of Smart Building, A.C., is a non-profit organization that brings together professionals and companies linked to the concept from which it takes its name. Aware of the importance of preserving the environment and conserving natural resources, the IMEI has focused its actions on training and disseminating the concepts of sustainability, energy saving and environmental technologies.
IFMA is a membership association for facilities management professionals. IFMA's global head office is located in Houston, Texas, USA, and has a presence in Latin America.
