For several years I have read news, reports and research that expose what are the main needs of travelers, both leisure and business.
It has always been said that travelers should feel at home when they are traveling and, personally, I tell you, sometimes it is not so. And not because hotels do not strive to do the best, but because some services have high prices, others are not good and others simply do not exist.
One of the needs of any traveler is rest. There is nothing more pleasant than arriving at the hotel and checking in in the shortest possible time and being able to get to the room and rest, but this does not always happen, however this need takes a back seat when talking about communication and work.
And this is when the internet appears. Being able to have free Wi-Fi in the room, being able to arrive from a hard day's work and connecting in the room quietly without having to travel anywhere in the hotel is unmatched. And beware not only that one can be quiet in your room, it is also that the connection is good, with a bandwidth that allows several guests to connect at the same time, because it is useless to have wifi, but that it is slow.
And believe it or not, the fact that a guest can have free Wi-Fi in a hotel is a luxury that few have, and we could say that many hotels in Latin America offer it, but there are others that do not and instead charge exaggeratedly high rates for the use of the network, which scares away many users.
Having free Wifi is a plus that differentiates them from others and that generates memory. Believe me, nowadays free Wi-Fi matters more than a good meal.
