To renew means to change, modernize and transform, to seek new spaces and new opportunities.
This renewal goes from the deepest to the outermost. If human beings can modify our actions, why can't a hotel make changes to decoration, attention and services?I want to talk about the renovation to be up to date, to offer quality services and attention and differential values that make us more preferred.
Let's start with one of the topics covered in this edition: pets in hotels. For many people these practices should not be, but for others it is the best idea to go on a trip and that their pets travel and enjoy with them because they are a member of the family. It is gratifying to see how, when doing a search on the internet, many establishments classified as pet friendly appear.
The second issue is the renewal of the image of the hotel, how it can influence the decision of accommodation, but we do not talk about aesthetic image only, we also talk about attention, information, good food, employee training and strategic location.
If an establishment is old, that antiquity must be handled in the best possible way so that it does not denote lack of investment or resources; for example, the fact that its style is old does not mean that its aroma too, this does not exempt it from having good entertainment equipment in the room and offering new technologies.
Good care and staff training is essential. There is nothing more frustrating than the front desk staff not having the knowledge to answer certain questions or that the same company does not communicate with each other and end up charging the same account twice, for example.
The location and a good restaurant, as well as a robust internet connection are other factors that affect the image of the hotel, and many of these depend on a renovation, on thinking about what the current and future client needs and how the world is moving.
