This is Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort, a hotel that will have 1,800 rooms, divided into 900 family suites with kitchen and capacity for six people and 900 standard rooms.
The project by Universal Parks & Resorts and Loews Hotels & Resorts will be completed in 2014, the year for which it is scheduled to open.
The particularity of this new establishment will be its theme, which will evoke the typical North American holidays, in which families were looking for a place next to the road to rest from their long journeys by car.
"The hotel will provide guests with an incredible lodging experience in a uniquely themed hotel, at affordable prices and completely different from what is currently available at Universal Orlando," said Tom Williams, president and CEO of Universal Parks & Resorts.
The project seeks to build a classic and modern building at the same time, with design elements, simple, striking and dramatic. Interior areas include the lobby and restaurants; In addition to the rooms, the hotel will feature two themed pool areas.
