Cloud communication or "cloud communication" as it is known in the technological universe, went from being the exclusive property of large companies to being accessible to all companies.
A company that has branches around the world can achieve savings of close to 80% in the communications of its telephone exchanges.
According to Franklin Marcelo, general manager of Interfono, "with cloud communication, you have a telephone exchange in the cloud. Therefore, the annexes can be deployed anywhere in the world and all of them communicate as if they were in a single office."
Interfono has five years in the IP telephony business, launched its cloud platforms last year and already has 1,000 customers.
According to the expert, having a telephone exchange in the cloud offers many benefits, including savings, productivity and mobility. He explains it like this:
1. Savings. Apart from the saving of that 80% of the budget in infrastructure and equipment to intercommunicate the branches, with cloud telephony a company receives at least 30% more revenue from customers than it loses by having the lines congested with traditional telephony.
2. Labor productivity. With cloud telephony it is possible to have a single number to answer as many calls as necessary. This eliminates busy lines.
3. Mobility. A company that is located in any country can have a number whose prefix corresponds to a number abroad, it is like a global unique number that accompanies the company regardless of the geographical area in which it is located.
