The I Smart Buildings Congress 2013, which was held on October 23 and 24, 2013 at the Eduardo Úrculo Cultural Center in Madrid in collaboration with the City Council of the capital, has expressed the need for the collaboration of multidisciplinary teams to face the development of smart buildings taking into account all phases of their life cycle.
This congress has brought together more than 200 professionals from the world of construction, such as engineers, architects, integrators, facility managers, property managers, etc.
The Intelligent Building is a multidisciplinary concept that for its best possible development needs a close collaboration between all the professionals of the Sector. We must also include aspects of the entire life cycle of the building when talking about solutions for smart buildings.
Smart Buildings are already a reality today, which provides undoubted value, both for their management and for users. Also, they are a key piece in the future development of Smart Cities.
