Colombia. Terranum Administration, a division of the Terranum Group focused on the administration and management of corporate real estate assets, announced that it achieved ISO 9001 certification. The fulfillment of the necessary requirements to achieve this certification was verified by the specialized company Bureau Veritas.
ISO 9001 is an international standard that applies to quality management systems that focuses on all the elements of administration that a company must have to have an effective system that allows it to improve the quality of its products or services.
Elsa Martínez, Quality Coordinator who led the certification process explained: "The process to receive this certification has been going on for a long time, what we did was to reinforce the implementation of preventive and corrective actions, while sensitizing the team with methodologies that recorded the traceability of improvements."
Martinez added that "the challenge will be to maintain ourselves, as we will have a follow-up by Bureau Veritas to continue with our good practices and improve the aspects of non-conformity during 2016 and 2017."
Juan Carlos Uscategui, manager of Terranum Corporate Services and María Eugenia Echeverry, manager of Terranum Administration, received the diploma that accredits this certification from Mr. Jorge Mario López, Commercial Manager of Bureau Veritas.
