As he explained, between 2012 and 2015 the number of teleworkers increased by 33%, going from 31,500 to 42,000. The objective of MinTIC for 2018 is to increase the number of teleworkers to 120,000, train 90,000 people in these skills and reach 2,5000 new vacancies in this modality.
Similarly, the official would support this bet of MinTic with some figures at a global level, among them cited a study according to which a person saves between US $ 2,000 and US $ 7,000 per year in transportation, food and clothing when working at home.
