International. In the framework of the congress "Energy Modeling Conference: Tools For Designing High Performance Buildings", held by the American Society of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating (ASHRAE) from September 28 to October 2 in Atlanta, USA, the Spanish company Cype presented a software for modeling and management of buildings.
The main theme of the event is "Making the Difference with Modeling: From Concept to Facility Management" and the main objective is for attendees to learn about the latest technological advances to facilitate communication and coordination between energy models and the software industry in the creation of models of high-performance buildings.
To achieve this, the congress brings together the most important experts and companies in the construction sector to analyze the new existing work tools that improve the coordination between the energy model of a building and the construction project to improve its energy efficiency.
Specifically, Cype offered on Monday, September 28, the conference entitled "Cypetherm HVAC: Load calculation and numerical analysis of thermal bridges into the Open BIM workflow using IFC4" where it presented its new 3D building modeling software that is integrated with Open BIM technology and allows the workflow of any project with the use of IFC4 standards.
The Cypetherm HVAC software is also a computer tool that allows the analysis of the thermal loads of buildings using the methods and data recommended by ASHRAE.
