ONVIF, the standardization initiative for IP-based physical security products, continues to strengthen in the market, proof of this is the recent announcement of two important milestones for the organization, the first is that it already has almost 5,000 IP-based physical security products registered as compatible and more than 500 member companies.

Over the past 12 months, the number of ONVIF compatible products increased by 1,300, an increase of about 35 percent.
