Latin America. The young company Indoorclima has developed a virtual management and maintenance system for air conditioning installations, called SGClima, which guarantees up to 15% energy savings with maximum comfort, thanks to intelligent algorithms that analyze and act on the equipment.
María del Mar Romero, engineer and general director of Indoorclima, details the operation of SGClima: "Through the process based on artificial intelligence techniques, integrated into the database engine, Machine Learning, and through the criteria of performance and comfort, the SGClima system integrates and parameterizes the installation to obtain results of energy saving and incident forecasting (predictive maintenance), modeled with real incident data".
This technology records information on the operation of installations of more than 150 air conditioning equipment from different manufacturers, with more than 350 million records of behaviors of various casuistries, by sector, climatology, etc. All these behavior patterns are continuously analyzed and interpreted by the system, so they automatically produce the predictive and management algorithms necessary to implement in each installation to optimize it and reduce energy consumption.
Companies in the hotel and retail sector are already betting on this virtual maintenance, managed through the SGClima system, guaranteeing maximum comfort, reducing maintenance expenses and achieving great energy savings. In this way, they also reinforce their commitment to sustainability and the search for maximum energy efficiency.
The installations controlled with SGClima incorporate a seal that certifies that an installation is subject to Virtual Maintenance and, therefore, permanently monitored. This guarantees total quality in the management of the facilities, energy control and optimized online performance.
