Mexico. Autodesk announced that Juan Pablo de la Torre has been named Managing Director for Mexico. Juan Pablo replaces Roberto Mikse, who from that date was also appointed as responsible for the entire Latin American region.

"Mexico, with the passage of time, has become one of the markets with the greatest potential for the company. I will take this opportunity to continue to empower Autodesk's work as a transformer in the design industry, as well as provide our partners with a comprehensive set of architectural computing solutions that help optimize organizational productivity." De la Torre commented. "I have the firm mission to continue positioning the company through the tools that enable people to imagine, design and create a better and more innovative world."
De la Torre is a recognized leader in the technology industry due to his trajectory of more than twenty years of experience in the information technology industry, in areas of business development, marketing and sales, where he has demonstrated his leadership in different markets, cultures and audiences.
Prior to this appointment, Juan Pablo successfully led Autodesk Mexico's sales force for the Manufacturing, Architecture, Engineering and Construction industries, as well as the Media and Entertainment industries.
Prior to Autodesk, he served as Regional Vice President of SuccessFactors for SAP Mexico and Central America, where he managed commercial positioning strategies in the region. He also worked for more than 15 years at Hewlett Packard (HP) where he held various management and management positions.
Juan Pablo holds a degree in Communication from the Universidad Iberoamericana and also holds a Master's Degree in Business and Administration (MBA) from the Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (ESADE) based in Barcelona, Spain.
