International. Indoorclima has just launched version 5.0 of SGClima, its HVAC system. The main novelty of this new version is that it offers its customers a new data: the life ratio of their air conditioning equipment, thanks to a process of study and analysis of Big Data.
Thanks to SGClima, it is possible to know at all times the general condition of the climate equipment and thus anticipate its failure or loss of efficiency by foreseeing when its maintenance, repair or replacement will be necessary. The life ratio is, therefore, a highly valuable data that allows decisions to be made that will revert to a better performance of the infrastructure.
The SGClima platform indicates the % of service life left for each of the air conditioning equipment. The interface has been reinforced with a very visual system of 3 colors: green for installations in optimal condition, amber for those that begin to lose capacity and red for which it is advisable to repair or replace.
The Big Data calculation method offered by this system incorporates data from the real operation of all types of facilities, equipment in different climatic zones and from different manufacturers.
The basis of the calculation mainly takes into account the direct and indirect performance of the equipment, although it also includes parameters such as the compression ratios of each of the cooling circuits to evaluate the condition of the compressors; the dispersion of the condensation temperature with respect to the outside temperature, to take into account the state of the condensing battery at the level of heat exchange and condensation pressure, as well as the direct and indirect performance of the equipment.
