Panama. The professionals of Panama are preparing for the celebration of the first International Congress of Quality Management, which will take place on July 17 and 18 at the Wyndham Hotel (Albrook Mall).
Among the outstanding presentations is that of Stan Mitchell (Scotland), who will present to the attendees all the details of ISO 41001:2018 concerning Facility Management. APAFAM is one of the sponsors of this event.
It is worth remembering that ISO 41001 was born to establish the requirements that a facility management system must have for organizations that want to demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of facility management, and what it contributes to the objectives of the organization, in the same way that they pursue consistency when defining the requirements and needs of the parties involved in the facility management process, and that they intend to be sustainable in an environment of high competitiveness.
Santa Alvarado, Commercial Manager of MAG Corporation and expert in management issues, said that the purpose of the event is to publicize the advances that the country has had in the application of iso International Quality Standards, whose use seeks to improve the quality and safety of any technological, scientific, industrial or service activity.
The Congress is presented as a platform for the dissemination and promotion of these Standards as a mechanism that protects the quality of all the products offered by the country, thus ensuring competitive advantages such as innovation and the development of human talent committed to working in the culture of continuous improvement, which translates into greater productivity and better income.
