Peru. A hospital with state-of-the-art technology at the service of the population is the objective that the Regional Government of San Martín wants to reach with the implementation of a complex software and hardware system, called Building Management System (BMS), which will allow the new Hospital of Moyobamba, which has been attending since last week, to provide greater comfort and safety to patients.
Currently the hospital of Moyobamba has the Communications System partially installed, however for the building to work in its entirety with all computer services it is required that the BMS works efficiently in all the services and systems that make up the architectural and technological infrastructure of the Hospital.
The BMS once installed in the hospital will monitor and control the water pumping system, the electrical parameters of the multifunction meters of the electrical system, the mechanical and electrical parameters of the generator sets, fire alarm, medical gases, the operation of UPS and air conditioning, among other components, which will make the seven-story infrastructure of the hospital a 'smart building'.
The GORESAM through its executing unit the Alto Mayo Special Project (PEAM), has undertaken the process of awarding the good pro to the company for the completion of the work of the work balance, in the supply and installation of the BMS (Building Management System), which will be responsible for the provisioning, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, training and maintenance of the Communications System of the Moyobamba Hospital; will require an investment of one million 600 thousand soles approximately.
