Peru. The demand for the outsourcing of facilities management services or (facility management) increases in the Peruvian market, said the firm Adecco.
This service, which is quite recent in the country, consists of managing the facilities in order to generate an optimal functioning of the infrastructure, logistics, processes and people management.
"Sales for this type of service have registered a growth of 13.3% in the last semester compared to the same period of 2017," said Adecco's chief operating officer, Sarah Cubas.
According to this company, 38% of the requests for services received by the Industrial outsourcing division of this company are facility management.
Likewise, of this group of proposals, 60% come from the industry sector, 22% from the education sector, 11% from the corporate sector and 7% from other sectors.
"Currently, the facility management service represents 23% of the turnover of the industrial outsourcing division," he said.
He also said that the high demand for this kind of services provides the opportunity to innovate for companies that offer these solutions.
